On Wednesday, the Bombay High Court will hear Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s bail application. On Tuesday, Aryan Khan was represented in court by Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi, a former Attorney General of India. He claimed that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had not recovered the 23-year-old nor conducted a medical examination to show narcotic consumption. He also stated that the WhatsApp chats recovered from his client’s phone dated back to 2018.
“NCB stated that WhatsApp chats were recovered from my phone. None of those conversations are about the cruise party. That is extremely important. There is no evidence that any of those conversations had anything to do with the start of this saga. “To use a broad term, there is no material whatsoever,” he added.
Sanjay Gupta spoke out in support of the actor on Monday. He questioned the silence of many film industry heavyweights since the arrest of the actor’s son. Aryan Khan was arrested earlier this month in a drug-related case.
“Shahrukh Khan has provided and continues to provide jobs and livelihoods for thousands of people in the film industry.” He has always advocated for any cause related to the film industry. And the same film industry’s astute silence in his hour of need is nothing short of SHAMEFUL,” he tweeted. Mika Singh supported Sanjay’s tweet.
“You are absolutely correct, brother; they are all watching the drama and cannot say anything.” I agree with @iamsrk. #AryanKhan should be released on bail. Industry mein sabke bache ek baar andar jaayenge, tab jaake yeh unity dikhanyenge, in my opinion. (I believe the industry will show unity when everyone’s children enter the jail.)” Mika’s tweet
