Hawkeye Episode 4 Recap: A Watch, Wife Barton, and an Assassin

Hawkeye episode 4 kicked off the second half of the new Marvel Cinematic Universe miniseries in high gear, and it’s currently available on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar. More mystery surrounded female characters in general in this episode. Hawkeye episode 4 introduced the Black Widow character, who was previously teased in December and confirmed at the end of the Black Widow film earlier this year. Florence Pugh resumed her role as the wisecracking super spy Yelena Belova in Hawkeye episode 4, albeit she didn’t say anything. Hawkeye’s wife Laura Barton (Linda Cardellini) appeared to be considerably more interested in certain things than she should be in the latest Hawkeye episode, which hinted at a possibly complex background for her.

Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox), who drew a lot of attention in Hawkeye episode 3, was virtually completely absent in Hawkeye episode 4. Hawkeye episode 4 had a few more surprises in store for Kate’s mother, Eleanor Bishop (Vera Farmiga), who is most likely concealing something. Hawkeye’s fourth episode confirmed Jack Duquesne’s (Tony Dalton) reputation as a terrible man, further distinguishing him from his Marvel Comics counterpart. We also didn’t see the “Uncle” who was teased in Hawkeye episode 3, disappointing fans who were hoping to see Kingpin/Wilson Fisk return – if that’s even possible.
